Campus Crusade for Christ was founded in 1951 by Bill and Vonette Bright. From the beginning, God's calling for this ministry was to, "Win the campus for Christ today; win the world for Christ tomorrow." Today, CCC's ministry spans to almost 200 countries and covers 800 languages, including seventy different ministries and ministry projects.

Soul2Soul, one of ForeRunner's bands, is looking for a volunteer percussionist cum back-up vocalist to join our brand new acoustic set-up at least for the next 12 months!

It's the Little Things in Life...

With much apprehension and uncertainties, we ended the year 2008 and entered 2009. Amidst the dark clouds of economic gloom hanging over our heads, we are forced to re-examine our life's priorities. I wrote in my November letter that this is the season to re-calibrate our hearts to be aligned with God and His priorities.

Recently I learned that purposeful living begins when I pay attention to the 'little things' in my life. The wise man from Proverbs 24:30-34, (NIV), wrote,

Report of COC Review of 7 Charities

10 Sep 2008 - The Commissioner of Charities (COC) recently released a summary report of findings from the review of 7 charities (see MCYS website). Campus Crusade Asia Ltd (CCAL) is one of the 7 reviewed charities that has been found to be "largely in compliance with regulatory requirements and code of governance".

The CCAL Board of Directors have expressed their appreciation to the office of the COC for their efforts in this review. CCAL is part of a global organization with its own system of internal controls and stringent audits by the regional supervisory office. This additional 'health check' by COC has provided us with even more clarity and affirmation that CCAL is on the right track in her efforts to adopt best practices in keeping to regulatory requirements and code of governance.
